PiheLux Launch Week: Building a Luxury Webshop in Record Time

Launch Week is always a special time in a dev team's life. Adrenaline, focus, and the pure joy of creation. The result of our latest sprint is PiheLux.com, a premium handcrafted bath tea webshop that we took from concept to live in just one week. But how is this possible without compromises? In this technical analysis, we show you what's under the hood.

The Mission: Luxury Experience vs. Speed

The challenge was twofold: on one hand, to convey the calmness and exclusivity the brand represents, and on the other, to ensure lightning-fast loading, which is essential in modern e-commerce. We couldn't use clunky templates; a custom, tailored solution was needed.

Tech Stack: The Foundation of the Modern Web

During development, we followed the "less is more" principle, but we didn't compromise on technology. The chosen stack:

• Vite + React: Instant HMR (Hot Module Replacement) during development, and optimized, small bundles in production.
• Tailwind CSS: For rapid design system construction. It allowed us to consistently apply luxury gold and pastel shades (bg-luxury-gold).
• Stripe: For secure and smooth payment processing.

Performance and SEO: The Invisible Engine

A beautiful website is worthless if users can't find it or if it loads slowly. That's why we paid special attention to technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.

Structuring data and proper keyword placement were key. Similar to our own data processing solutions, precise analysis preceded content creation here too. Every subpage received a unique meta description, and the HTML structure (H1-H6) strictly follows semantic rules.

Images and Loading

High-resolution product photos often slow down sites. We used modern AVIF and WebP formats, combined with lazy loading techniques. This ensures that visitors to PiheLux can enjoy the visual content immediately without waiting.

Automation and Future Plans

Although the site has launched, the work doesn't stop. In the background, we are already working on processes to make webshop operations more efficient. From order processing to inventory management, we are deploying our custom automation services at several points so the owners can focus on product development.

AI for Customer Experience

In the next phase, artificial intelligence will also play a role. We plan to integrate an intelligent recommendation system that – similar to our RAG chatbot solution – helps visitors choose the perfect bath tea based on their needs.
